Ragwort (Senecio jacobaea) is a much persecuted plant of the British countryside - mainly because it's poisonous to livestock when eaten in large quantities. It's also the favoured food plant of the cinnabar moth (Tyria jacobaeae) caterpillar, a relatively common arctiid moth.
